Variants

CircuitBreaker

The circuit breaker tripped after MAX_CONSECUTIVE_COMPACT_FAILURES consecutive failures. Further proactive compaction attempts are suppressed until a successful compaction resets the counter.

Error

The compaction call itself failed (provider error, network issue, etc.).
