pub enum Observation {
Corroborating,
Contradicting,
}Expand description
What one observation says about a claim.
The two directions differ by more than the sign of a count. Corroboration is the belief being seen again, so it restarts temporal decay; a contradiction is not, so it must leave the decay anchor exactly where it stands. Carrying that as a value — rather than leaving each write site to remember it — is what stops “this is wrong” from making a stale edge more visible than it was: an edge stored at 0.6 and decayed to 0.3 would otherwise come back at 0.545, undecayed, because it was corrected.

pub fn renews_decay_anchor(self) -> bool
Whether recording this observation restarts temporal decay.
Only corroboration does. This is the single place that rule lives.
