How completed models are exposed to downstream {{ ref() }} in the same run.

Default is lake-as-truth parquet / file re-read (no long-lived MemTable). Opt into MemTable via materialize.ref_strategy: memtable in rbt_project.yml.

Variants

Parquet

Always re-read the written lake file for ref() (default).

Memtable

Keep an in-memory MemTable when row_count < memtable_max_rows; else re-read file.
