Encoder-agnostic options shared by every backend.

Embedded as the common field of each per-implementation config struct so that metadata-embedding and output bit-depth are configured uniformly, independent of the chosen backend.

Fields

metadata: MetadataEmbedOptions

Which metadata blocks to embed in the output container.

bit_depth: BitDepth

Requested output bit depth.

Encoders that cannot honour the request return EncodeError::UnsupportedBitDepth rather than silently degrading.
