Configuration for the planned jpegli JPEG encoder.

Fields

common: CommonEncodeOptions

Encoder-agnostic options. JPEG output is always 8-bit.

distance: f32

Butteraugli distance: 0.0 is visually lossless; higher values produce smaller files (monotonic). Used when quality is None.

quality: Option<u8>

Optional 1..=100 quality; when Some, overrides distance.

progressive: bool

Emit a progressive JPEG.

xyb: bool

Encode in the XYB color space (jpegli high-fidelity mode).

subsampling: JpegSubsampling

Chroma subsampling mode.
