Expand description
A small coding agent in the terminal: a chat with a model that can read, list, search, edit and run inside one folder, and asks before it changes anything.
Re-exports§
pub use app::run;
Modules§
- actions
- The five things the model may do inside the working folder: read a file, list a folder, search for text, edit a file and run a command.
- app
- The chat: one screen where the person writes, the reply streams in, and the actions the model asks for are done, or shown and asked about first.
- config
- Where qcli keeps its settings:
cli.confin the Quvyta ecosystem’s folder, beside the other Quvyta apps. - conversation
- A conversation with the model, kept in the Messages shape it is sent in.
- instructions
- What the model is told before the conversation: who it is working for, where, and with
which tools, followed by the folder’s own
AGENTS.mdwhen it has one. - provider
- Talking to a model provider in the Anthropic Messages shape.
- store
- Where conversations are kept: one file for each working folder, so opening qcli in a folder goes on where the last time in that folder stopped.
Functions§
- locales
- The application’s own locale files, compiled in so an installed program carries its text
with it. Each is
(file name, contents). English comes first: it is the language every other file is checked against.
