pub enum AtomMode {
Pin,
Hold,
Weak,
}Expand description
How long an atom Heap::intern returns is kept. Atoms are otherwise
collected like any string: a property key, a shape, a dynamic unit or a
value keeps one alive.
Variants§
Pin
For the heap’s lifetime: the realm’s names and the builtins’ properties, interned while the runtime is created, and the keys of the units published before the program runs.
Hold
Until the running compilation ends: the keys, names and string constants of code compiled at run time, before its units are published and instantiated.
Weak
No longer than its holders.
