Expand description

A runtime’s memory, part by part.

Fields§

§objects: ArenaReport§shapes: ArenaReport§strings: ArenaReport§symbols: ArenaReport§bigints: ArenaReport§cells: ArenaReport§functions: ArenaReport§bytecode: ArenaReport§internals: ArenaReport§values: ValueHeapReport§rope_bytes: usize

Bytes of flattened ropes (the strings arena counts a rope as empty).

§atoms: usize

Interned strings.

§pinned_atoms: usize

Atoms that live as long as the heap.

§code: CodeReport§register_capacity: usize

Registers the register file has room for.

§register_high_water: usize

Registers made addressable so far: the file never shrinks, so this is its high-water mark.

§ic_entries: usize

Inline-cache entries, held or free.

§ic_free: usize

Entries no unit holds, reused by the next units published.

§gc: GcStats§allocated_since_gc: usize

Nominal bytes allocated since the last collection, and the count at which the next one runs.

§threshold: usize§budget: usize

The reserved-bytes budget the last collection set.

§table_bytes: usize

Bytes of the tables beside the arenas: the ropes’ halves, the atom table and the inline caches.

§cap: usize

The heap cap in bytes; usize::MAX for none.

Implementations§

Source§

impl MemoryReport

Source

pub fn arenas(&self) -> [(&'static str, &ArenaReport); 9]

The arenas by name, in report order.

Source

pub fn reserved_bytes(&self) -> usize

Bytes reserved on the heap: what the cap compares against.
