Re-export of the backoff curve BackoffPolicy is built from, so a policy can be tuned without naming queuey-core as a dependency. How long to wait between attempts.

Retry immediately.

Fixed(Duration)

Constant delay between attempts.

Exponential

delay = min(max, base * factor^(attempt-1)), optionally with full jitter.

Fields

base: Duration

Delay used for the first retry (after attempt 1 failed).

factor: f64

Multiplier applied once per previous attempt.

max: Duration

Upper bound of the computed delay, jitter included.

jitter: bool

When true, the delay is drawn uniformly from [0, computed].

Sensible exponential default: 1s base, x2, capped at 5 minutes, jittered.

Delay before the next attempt, given the attempt that just failed (1-based). Must never panic and must return a value <= max for the exponential variant. Jitter, when enabled, picks uniformly in [0, computed].
