FilterLimits

Struct FilterLimits

Source
pub struct FilterLimits { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

Resource bounds enforced for every constructed or deserialized filter.

The defaults keep filters small enough for predictable allocation and recursive evaluation while leaving room for realistic application queries.

§Examples

use qubit_metadata::FilterLimits;

let limits = FilterLimits::builder().max_depth(8).build()?;
assert_eq!(limits.max_depth(), 8);

Implementations§

Source§

impl FilterLimits

Source

pub const MAX: Self

Library-wide hard maximums for every resource bound.

Source

pub const fn builder() -> FilterLimitsBuilder

Creates a fluent builder for validated resource limits.

§Returns

A builder whose omitted properties use library hard maximums.

Source

pub const fn max_depth(&self) -> usize

Returns the maximum nesting depth.

Source

pub const fn max_nodes(&self) -> usize

Returns the maximum number of expression nodes.

Source

pub const fn max_set_values(&self) -> usize

Returns the maximum candidate values in one membership condition.

Source

pub const fn max_key_bytes(&self) -> usize

Returns the maximum UTF-8 byte length of one metadata key.

§Returns

The configured key byte bound.
