Hash algorithm selection passed in over FFI.

The core’s Algorithm is not exposed directly, for two reasons:

1. The extra layer keeps the Rust API unaffected by renames of the client-side enum.
2. If the core ever turns it into an enum carrying data, the FFI contract stays unchanged.

Variants

Sha1

HMAC-SHA-1 (the RFC 6238 default; almost every real server supports only this).

Sha256

HMAC-SHA-256.

Sha512

HMAC-SHA-512.
