Expand description

Where a task’s overlays live, and what passes through them to the workspace.

Fields§

§workspace: PathBuf

The workspace, which the overlay is mounted over.

§directory: PathBuf

The task’s directory: each command’s layers in command-<index>.

§passthrough: Vec<PathBuf>

Paths in the workspace bound through, so that what a command writes there reaches the workspace directly.

§rules: OverlayRules

The Landlock rules each command restricts itself to once the overlay is mounted, which reads must keep to.

§keep: Vec<PathBuf>

Where the task may write: what its commands wrote beneath these is applied to the workspace as they end, and the rest is not.

§settled: OnceLock<Settled>

Set once the commands’ writes are applied.

Implementations§

Source§

impl Overlay

Source

pub fn settle(&self) -> &Settled

Applies what the task’s commands wrote within keep to the workspace, once, as they end: before the cache reads its outputs and before any task depending on it starts.
