#[non_exhaustive]pub enum MailError {
Transient(String),
Permanent(String),
}Expand description
Why a message was not sent, as far as a caller needs to know: whether trying again can help.
Variants (Non-exhaustive)§
This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
Transient(String)
It may pass: the server answered 4xx, could not be reached, or timed out.
Permanent(String)
It never will: the address or the message was rejected (5xx), or a template is broken.
