A tool’s hints.
Every field here is a hint, not a guarantee: the schema says so directly, and says a client must never make a tool-use decision from an untrusted server’s hints. Modelled because a registry that drops them loses data the specification defines.
Carrying hints does not raise a primitive’s required features, and that
is deliberate — see Primitive::meta. A peer on an older revision ignores
hints it does not know and calls the tool all the same, so gating
visibility on them would hide a working tool for no gain.
Fields§
§title: Option<String>title.
read_only_hint: Option<bool>readOnlyHint. Absent means unknown, not false.
destructive_hint: Option<bool>destructiveHint.
idempotent_hint: Option<bool>idempotentHint.
open_world_hint: Option<bool>openWorldHint.
