}Expand description
What one pass of the loop moved.
Fields§
§forwarded: u64Envelopes the upstream peer answered.
notified: u64Envelopes the upstream peer was told about and correctly sent nothing back for.
relayed: u64Envelopes the upstream peer volunteered and the client was told about.
Separate from forwarded and
notified because they mean opposite things:
forwarded counts what the bridge carried up and brought back,
notified counts what it carried up and correctly got nothing for, and
this counts what came down with no request behind it at all. A run
that reports relayed: 0 against a live session is a bridge that is
losing half the protocol — the half that is not a request.
failed: u64Envelopes the bridge refused or could not read, each answered to the client.
handshaken: boolWhether a client completed a handshake.
Separate from the counters because it is the one number that says the bridge ever did anything: a run that forwarded nothing and failed nothing is either a client that connected and stayed quiet, or a client that never arrived, and the report has to tell those apart.
