Watch processes in real-time

Fields

target: Vec<String>

Target(s): PID, :port, or name (separate arguments for several; omit for all processes)

interval: f64

Refresh interval in seconds (at least 0.1)

in_dir: Option<String>

Filter by directory; takes the next word as the directory unless it starts with ‘-’ (bare –in is the current directory, –in=DIR is explicit)

by_name: Option<String>

Filter by process name

cmd: bool

Match name targets and –by as a substring of the process name or full command line (like pkill -f)

min_cpu: Option<f32>

Only show processes using more than this CPU %

min_mem: Option<f64>

Only show processes using more than this memory (MB)

json: bool

Output as JSON (newline-delimited, one object per refresh)

verbose: bool

Show verbose output

wide: bool

Print full directories and arguments instead of fitting the terminal width

limit: Option<usize>

Limit the number of results shown

sort: WatchSortKey

Sort by: cpu, mem (biggest first); pid, name (ascending). Ties come by PID
