This is how the contract tests read a type’s fields: off the schema the type generates rather than off a table maintained beside it.

Fields

name: String

The field’s name on the wire.

descriptor: String

What the field is: a referenced type’s name, or a primitive’s.

required: bool

Whether an instance must carry it.
