Expand description

One pass’s run. Its equality is the determinism comparison: every field but StepReport::time (two runs that made the same are equal however long they took).

Fields§

§pass: String

The pass with its options, as in the pipeline text.

§approximates: &'static str§log: PassLog§added: Vec<String>

Component names that appeared and disappeared.

§removed: Vec<String>§conservation: Vec<Gap>

With conservation diagnostics reporting (Conservation::Report): each measure whose losses differ from what the pass declared. Empty otherwise.

§failed: Option<String>

Some(why) when the pass failed (its run, its declarations, conservation or the verifier refused it): the record keeps what its log had noted until then, so its omissions and approximations still reach the report; added and removed are then empty (not checked).

§skipped: Vec<String>

Required names absent when the step was skipped: a pass that opts in and finds none (Pass::may_lack_inputs, SKIPPED), or the caller’s explicit MissingInputs::Skip preparation policy (SKIPPED_UNFED). Empty when the pass ran.

§time: StepTime

How long the step took, by the wall clock (zero for a skipped step).

§settings: Vec<String>

The run settings the pass read (Pass::settings), as the run stated them (threads 16), in its declared order; empty for a skipped or refused step. How the step was run, not what it made: a StepReport’s equality leaves them out, as it does the time.
