Expand description

A camera-facing or fixed flat particle, one textured quad.

Fields§

§map: Option<Map>

The colour texture; None is white.

§blend: Blend§orientation: Orientation§size: [Value; 2]

Width and height in metres, functions of the particle’s age.

§uniform: bool

Whether the height follows the width.

§size_variance: [f32; 2]

Each particle’s size is multiplied by a random factor between this and 1, per axis (1 for none).

§offset: [Value; 3]

Offset from the particle’s position in its own axes, metres.

§rotation: [Value; 3]

Rotation about the three axes (degrees), then spin about them (degrees per second, a function of the age).

§spin: [Value; 3]§scale_before_rotation: bool

Whether size applies before rotation.

§atlas: Option<Atlas>§tint: Vec<Term>

The factors of the colour, multiplied.

§alpha_fade_threshold: Value

Alpha below this is dropped (0 to 1), and alpha above it stretched to fill the range.

§alpha_cutoff: Value

Alpha below this is dropped outright.

§soft: Option<SoftEdge>§distance: Option<DistanceFade>§octagonal: bool

An octagonal quad (cut corners) instead of a rectangle.

§lit: Option<Lit>

A lit surface: a normal map and how it is lit; None is unlit.

§bloom: Option<[f32; 4]>

A bloom tint added to what is drawn, or None for none.

§premultiply_alpha: bool

Whether the texture’s colour is multiplied by its alpha first.

§depth_bias: Value

Pushes the draw toward (negative) or away from the camera in depth, metres.
