LocalShadow

Struct LocalShadow

Source
pub struct LocalShadow {
    pub projection: Vec<f32>,
    pub centre: [f32; 4],
    pub faces: Vec<[f32; 4]>,
}
Expand description

A light’s shadow as the consumer draws it this frame, in the terms the source’s shadowed programs read: its place in the consumer’s local-light shadow atlas. The consumer that renders the atlas states every value; the packing derives none.

Fields§

§projection: Vec<f32>

The depth projection terms of the shadow’s faces, at least as many as the table’s LightValue::ShadowProjection takes.

§centre: [f32; 4]

The point the shadow is rendered from, in the frame the source’s programs take a view-space position to with the frame’s view-to-world matrix, then 1.

§faces: Vec<[f32; 4]>

Each face’s scale (x, y) and offset (z, w) in the atlas, at least as many as the table’s LightValue::ShadowFaces takes, in its order.
