#[non_exhaustive]pub struct RateLimitDefaults {
pub requests: u32,
pub window_secs: u32,
pub burst: u32,
pub max_tracked_keys: usize,
}Expand description
Default rate limiting settings.
Fields (Non-exhaustive)§
This struct is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive structs could have additional fields added in future. Therefore, non-exhaustive structs cannot be constructed in external crates using the traditional
Struct { .. } syntax; cannot be matched against without a wildcard ..; and struct update syntax will not work.requests: u32Default requests per window
window_secs: u32Default window size in seconds
burst: u32Burst allowance
max_tracked_keys: usizeMost clients (keys) tracked at once across every rate limit.
Each distinct client costs an entry, and clients are cheap to invent – an IPv6 attacker has more addresses than the proxy has memory. At the cap, entries that have refilled completely are dropped (they say nothing a fresh entry would not), and if that frees nothing, a new client is refused rather than let through untracked.
