Struct pomsky::Span

source ·
pub struct Span { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

A source code location, marked by the start and end byte offset. If both are zero, this is considered as “empty” or “missing”, and Span::range returns None.

Implementations§

source§

impl Span

source

pub fn new(start: usize, end: usize) -> Span

Constructs a new Span. If both start and end is 0, this is considered as “empty” or “missing”

source

pub fn empty() -> Span

Constructs an empty Span.

source

pub fn is_empty(&self) -> bool

Returns whether this span is “empty” or “missing”.

source

pub fn range(self) -> Option<Range<usize>>

Converts this span to a std::ops::Range. If it is empty, None is returned.

source

pub fn range_unchecked(self) -> Range<usize>

Converts this span to a std::ops::Range, without checking if it is empty.

source

pub fn start(&self) -> Span

Returns a new span that points to this span’s start, but has a length of 0.

impl PartialEq for Span

source§

fn eq(&self, other: &Span) -> bool

1.0.0 · source§

fn ne(&self, other: &Rhs) -> bool

This method tests for !=. The default implementation is almost always sufficient, and should not be overridden without very good reason.
