Fields (Non-exhaustive)

Non-exhaustive structs could have additional fields added in future. Therefore, non-exhaustive structs cannot be constructed in external crates using the traditional Struct { .. } syntax; cannot be matched against without a wildcard ..; and struct update syntax will not work.

key: MarketKey

The instrument, or the outcome of an event, to trade.

side: Side

Buy or sell.

price: Decimal

The limit price.

size: Decimal

The size, in the instrument’s native quantity.

time_in_force: TimeInForce

How long it rests.

client_order_id: Option<ClientOrderId>

The caller’s id for it. The venue echoes it, or the implementation keeps it for the orders it placed, as its documentation says; a venue that can do neither refuses a request that carries one.

post_only: bool

Rest only: refuse to take liquidity.

reduce_only: bool

Only reduce a position, never open or grow one.

extensions: Extensions

The venue’s own options; one it does not declare is refused.
