Checks:

SHA-256 hash of compressed data
Manifest file hashes match actual file contents
File sizes match manifest

§Arguments

artifact - The artifact to verify
expected_hash - Optional expected hash of the compressed artifact

§Errors

Returns an error if verification fails.

pub fn verify_size(artifact: &Artifact, max_size: u64) -> Result<()>

Verifies file size matches manifest.

This is a lightweight check that can be done without extracting files.
