Permissive (default) enforces V1-V9 as errors and surfaces degenerate-composition warnings non-blockingly. Strict promotes those warnings to errors.

Variants

Permissive

V1 through V9 are errors; degenerate compositions are warnings.

Strict

Degenerate compositions are errors too.
