ScriptedOutcome

Enum ScriptedOutcome

Source
pub enum ScriptedOutcome {
    Terminal(ActionOutcome),
    TransportLostAfterDispatch,
    TransportLostBeforeDispatch,
}
Expand description

One scripted execute behavior (crate::spi::ProviderSession::execute), consumed front-to-back from the script queue.

Variants§

§

Terminal(ActionOutcome)

Return this terminal outcome. The journal records the dispatch and archives the terminal. For succeeded, the fake stamps result.callId and the timestamps from its logical clock so the post-condition result.callId == call.callId holds regardless of what the script author wrote.

§

TransportLostAfterDispatch

Simulate transport rupture after dispatch reached the daemon but before any terminal arrived: the journal records a dispatch with no terminal (reconcile → startedNoTerminal) and execute fails with a transport_lost-class ProviderError.

§

TransportLostBeforeDispatch

Simulate transport rupture before dispatch reached the daemon: no journal trace (reconcile → neverDispatched) and execute fails with a transport_lost-class ProviderError.

Implementations§

Source§

impl ScriptedOutcome

Source

pub fn succeeded() -> Self

A minimal deterministic succeeded terminal (callId and timestamps are stamped by the fake at execute time).

Source

pub fn failed(code: &str, retryable: bool) -> Self

A failed terminal with the given wire code and retryable flag.

Source

pub fn cancelled() -> Self

A cancelled terminal (wire code action_cancelled).

Source

pub fn timed_out() -> Self

A timedOut terminal (wire code action_timeout).
