Which of the three MRTR input-request kinds an entry is.

Carried alongside an InputRequest so a response can be decoded KIND-DIRECTED (InputResponse::decode_for) instead of guessed from an overlapping untagged shape (T-113-46).

The serde spelling is EXPLICIT and STABLE, and never appears on the wire

These three strings travel in exactly one place: inside the AEAD-sealed requestState continuation, as the server’s own record of which kind it requested under each inputRequests key (D-113-O). They are never emitted on the public JSON-RPC wire — the wire spelling of a kind is its wire_method, which is unchanged.

They are spelled with per-variant rename rather than a container-level rename_all so that a future container attribute cannot silently re-spell them. That matters because a token minted by one build is presented to another during a rolling deploy: a changed spelling would make every in-flight continuation’s kinds map undecodable, which — under Continuation’s absent-means-pre-kinds rule — is a HARD failure, not a graceful degradation.
