Implementations§
Source§impl CompileError
impl CompileError
Sourcepub fn caller_message(&self) -> String
pub fn caller_message(&self) -> String
The text to show the CALLER of a script that failed to compile.
Every variant’s message is the compiler’s own static guidance (“‘while’ loops
are not supported. Use for-of with .slice() instead”), which is what a model
needs to rewrite the script, with one exception: CompileError::ParseError
carries the Debug rendering of the parser’s error, which quotes the token it
choked on and so repeats the caller’s own code. It is replaced by a fixed
sentence. A refusal must not echo what the caller wrote.
