Enum WorkspaceIssue

Source
#[non_exhaustive]
pub enum WorkspaceIssue { Missing { name: DbName, }, Undescribed { name: DbName, }, Stale { name: DbName, }, Unreadable { name: DbName, why: String, }, AmbiguousSelf { name: DbName, facts: usize, }, }
Expand description

Something Workspace::verify found. Reported, never repaired — a workspace is a directory a person can edit, and guessing at their intent is how a consistency check becomes a data-loss bug.

Variants (Non-exhaustive)§

This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
§

Missing

The registry describes a database that is not on disk.

Fields

§name: DbName

The database the registry believes in.

§

Undescribed

A database on disk that the registry does not describe. It works; it just cannot be found by description until it is described.

Fields

§name: DbName

The database with no registry record.

§

Stale

The registry’s description disagrees with the database’s own.

Fields

§name: DbName

The database whose record is out of date.

§

Unreadable

A database could not be read, so nothing about it could be checked.

Fields

§name: DbName

The database that would not open.

§why: String

Why, in the words of the error.

§

AmbiguousSelf

More than one fact claims the reserved self-description anchor.

Fields

§name: DbName

The database holding them.

§facts: usize

How many facts were anchored there.
