Unified error type for plotlars I/O and plot construction failures.
This enum is #[non_exhaustive] – new variants may be added in minor
releases without breaking downstream match arms that include a wildcard.
§Example
use plotlars_core::io::{CsvReader, PlotlarsError};
fn main() -> Result<(), PlotlarsError> {
let df = CsvReader::new("data/penguins.csv").finish()?;
Ok(())
}Variants (Non-exhaustive)§
This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
Io
File not found, permission denied, or other I/O error.
CsvParse
CSV parsing failure.
ParquetParse
Parquet parsing failure.
ColumnNotFound
A required column was not found in the DataFrame.
TypeMismatch
A column’s data type did not match what the plot expected.
PlotBuild
Plot construction failure.
