pub enum OutboundOverflow {
Drop,
Disconnect,
}Expand description
What a full client queue means.
Variants§
Drop
Discard the frame and keep the connection. Right for a stream of absolute state, where the next frame supersedes the lost one.
Disconnect
Drop the connection instead of the frame.
A client that cannot keep up is not going to catch up, and one that has missed frames from a stream that is not self-correcting is holding a view the server never authored. Ending the connection is better than letting it keep that view.
