Struct Where

pub struct Where {
    pub api: String,
    pub page: String,
}
Expand description

The two places GitHub answers “which release is newest”: the REST API, which says so in JSON with the release notes attached, and the releases page, which redirects to the newest one and says nothing else.

The API is asked first and is the one that gives the page its notes. It is also rationed: sixty answers an hour to everyone behind one public address, and a hall of players launching the game behind one router is exactly the busy afternoon that runs it dry. When it is dry the page is asked instead, which is not rationed that way, so the offer still stands, only without the notes.

Both are built from the manifest’s repository so a fork asks about itself.

Source§

fn into_any_rc(self: Rc<T>) -> Rc<dyn Any>

Convert Rc<Trait> (where Trait: Downcast) to Rc<Any>. Rc<Any> can then be further downcast into Rc<ConcreteType> where ConcreteType implements Trait.
Source§

fn as_any(&self) -> &(dyn Any + 'static)

Convert &Trait (where Trait: Downcast) to &Any. This is needed since Rust cannot generate &Any’s vtable from &Trait’s.
