Available merge strategies.

Variants

Linear

Simple weighted average: result = (1-α)*A + α*B.

Slerp

Spherical linear interpolation — preserves direction on the unit hypersphere.

Ties

TIES-Merging: sign-majority election with magnitude trimming.

TaskVector

Task-vector merging: base + α*(finetuned - base).

When α=1.0 this is identical to returning finetuned; when α=0.0 it is identical to returning base.

Dare

DARE (Drop And REscale): deterministically drop task-vector elements, then rescale.

Fields

seed: u64

Seed for the deterministic LCG random number generator.

dropout_rate: f32

Fraction of task-vector elements to zero out (0.0 = keep all, 1.0 = drop all).
