Stable refinement termination categories shared by every method.
Variants§
Converged
Convergence criterion was met.
MaxIterations
Iteration budget was exhausted.
NoObservations
No included observations remain.
NumericalFailure
Numerical evaluation or solve failed.
Cancelled
Cooperative cancellation was requested.
MaxRuntime
Wall-clock budget was exhausted.
MaxEvaluations
Model-evaluation budget was exhausted.
Stagnated
No improving progress could be made.
Diverged
Objective diverged under the method policy.
RepeatedRejections
Consecutive rejected-step budget was exhausted.
Solvers return the last accepted state for this normal bounded stop. It is not convergence: staged workflows must opt in before promoting that state, and validation policies may require evidence of prior progress.
