CifReadLimits

Struct CifReadLimits

Source
pub struct CifReadLimits {
    pub max_bytes: usize,
    pub max_blocks: usize,
    pub max_loop_rows: usize,
    pub max_atom_sites: usize,
}
Expand description

Resource limits checked before and during CIF parsing.

The defaults allow 16 MiB of UTF-8 text, 100 data blocks, 1,000,000 rows in any one loop, and 100,000 atom or anisotropic-site rows. A file’s byte size is checked before its contents are read. Loop and site bounds are checked before constructing domain records.

Tighten these limits when accepting untrusted uploads. All limits must be positive; zero does not mean unlimited.

Fields§

§max_bytes: usize

Maximum UTF-8 byte count.

§max_blocks: usize

Maximum number of data blocks.

§max_loop_rows: usize

Maximum row count of any loop.

§max_atom_sites: usize

Maximum atom or anisotropic-site rows.

Implementations§

Source§

impl CifReadLimits

Source

pub fn validate(self) -> Result<(), CifIoError>

§Errors

Returns CifIoError::InvalidLimits when any limit is zero.
