ParameterDescription

Struct ParameterDescription

Source
#[non_exhaustive]
pub struct ParameterDescription { pub types: Vec<u32>, }
Expand description

Data structure returned when frontend describes a statement

Fields (Non-exhaustive)§

This struct is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive structs could have additional fields added in future. Therefore, non-exhaustive structs cannot be constructed in external crates using the traditional Struct { .. } syntax; cannot be matched against without a wildcard ..; and struct update syntax will not work.

impl ParameterDescription

Source

pub fn new(types: Vec<u32>) -> Self

Constructs a new ParameterDescription.

Source§

impl Message for ParameterDescription

Source§

fn message_type() -> Option<u8>

Return the type code of the message. In order to maintain backward compatibility, Startup has no message type.
Source§

fn max_message_length() -> usize

Return the max length of message in this type. Read more
Source§

fn message_length(&self) -> usize

Return the length of the message, including the length integer itself.
Source§

fn encode_body(&self, buf: &mut BytesMut) -> PgWireResult<()>

Encode body part of the message.
Source§

fn decode_body( buf: &mut BytesMut, _: usize, _ctx: &DecodeContext, ) -> PgWireResult<Self>

Decode body part of the message.
Source§

fn encode(&self, buf: &mut BytesMut) -> PgWireResult<()>

Default implementation for encoding message. Read more

impl PartialEq for ParameterDescription

Source§

fn eq(&self, other: &ParameterDescription) -> bool

Tests for self and other values to be equal, and is used by ==.
1.0.0 · Source§

fn ne(&self, other: &Rhs) -> bool

Tests for !=. The default implementation is almost always sufficient, and should not be overridden without very good reason.
