#[non_exhaustive]pub enum PubSubError {
InvalidChannelName,
InvalidPayload,
ListenError(Error),
NotifyError(Error),
Closed,
}Expand description
Errors returned by PgPubSub operations.
Variants (Non-exhaustive)§
This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
InvalidChannelName
Channel name is empty or exceeds 63 bytes.
InvalidPayload
Notification payload is 8000 bytes or longer, which PostgreSQL rejects.
ListenError(Error)
The LISTEN command sent for PgPubSub::listen failed.
NotifyError(Error)
The NOTIFY command sent for PgPubSub::notify or
PgPubSub::notify_batch failed.
Closed
The underlying PgPubSub was dropped before the operation could
complete, so its background command task is no longer running.
