Expand description

One change to apply to a cluster’s role layout.

Variants§

§

CreateRole(Role)

Create a new role with the given definition.

§

DropRole

Drop an existing role by name.

Fields

§name: Identifier

Name of the role to drop.

§

AlterRoleAttributes

Alter the attributes of an existing role.

Both from and to are carried so that downstream lint rules (e.g. role-loses-superuser) can inspect the before state.

Fields

§name: Identifier

Name of the role being altered.

§from: RoleAttributes

Attribute values before the change.

§to: RoleAttributes

Attribute values after the change.

§

GrantRoleMembership

Grant membership of role to member.

Fields

§member: Identifier

Who gains the membership.

§role: Identifier

Which role they become a member of.

§

RevokeRoleMembership

Revoke membership of role from member.

Fields

§member: Identifier

Who loses the membership.

§role: Identifier

Which role they are removed from.

§

CommentOnRole

Set or clear the comment on a role.

Fields

§name: Identifier

Name of the role.

§comment: Option<String>

New comment value; None clears the existing comment.
