TryDeserializeResult

Struct TryDeserializeResult

Source
pub struct TryDeserializeResult<T> {
    pub value: T,
    pub errors: Vec<FieldError>,
}
Expand description

Result of a lenient (RowData::try_deserialize_into) deserialization.

The value is always returned — fields that fail to parse are populated with type-appropriate defaults (numeric 0, empty string, false, None, empty bytes). The errors vector lists every field that triggered a fallback so callers can log, count, or reject the row.

Fields§

§value: T

Deserialized value (with defaults substituted for failed fields).

§errors: Vec<FieldError>

Per-field errors, in column order.

Implementations§

Source§

impl<T> TryDeserializeResult<T>

Source

pub fn is_clean(&self) -> bool

Returns true when every field parsed successfully (no errors recorded).

Source

pub fn into_result(self) -> Result<T, Vec<FieldError>>

Convert into a standard Result: Ok(value) if no errors, else Err(errors).
