pub struct ExtensionRequest {
pub names: Vec<ExtensionName>,
pub manifest: ManifestSource,
pub cache_dir: Utf8PathBuf,
}Expand description
A validated declaration of which extensions to install and from where.
Fields§
§names: Vec<ExtensionName>Extension names in declaration order, deduplicated.
manifest: ManifestSourceManifest location and pin.
cache_dir: Utf8PathBufDirectory holding verified archives between runs.
Implementations§
Source§impl ExtensionRequest
impl ExtensionRequest
Sourcepub fn from_config(cfg: &PgEnvCfg) -> BootstrapResult<Option<Self>>
pub fn from_config(cfg: &PgEnvCfg) -> BootstrapResult<Option<Self>>
Builds a request from the PG_EXTENSIONS* variables captured in cfg.
Returns Ok(None) when PG_EXTENSIONS is unset, empty or whitespace,
so the hook stays inert for consumers that do not declare extensions.
§Errors
Returns ExtensionConfigInvalid when names are declared without a
manifest, when a URL manifest has no digest, or when a name or digest
is malformed. Every URL manifest needs one, loopback http://
included: the digest is what makes the fetched bytes checkable, and
loopback does not supply that.
§Examples
use pg_embedded_setup_unpriv::{PgEnvCfg, extensions::ExtensionRequest};
let cfg = PgEnvCfg {
extensions: Some("vector, vector".into()),
extensions_manifest: Some("/srv/extensions/manifest.json".into()),
..PgEnvCfg::default()
};
let request = ExtensionRequest::from_config(&cfg)?.expect("names were declared");
assert_eq!(request.names.len(), 1, "duplicates collapse in order");Trait Implementations§

Source§fn fg(&self, value: Color) -> Painted<&T>
fn fg(&self, value: Color) -> Painted<&T>
Returns a styled value derived from self with the foreground set to
value.
This method should be used rarely. Instead, prefer to use color-specific
builder methods like red() and
green(), which have the same functionality but are
pithier.
§Example
Set foreground color to white using fg():

are pithier.
§Example

Enables the styling Attribute value.

underline(), which have the same functionality
but are pithier.

§Example
Enable wrapping using .quirk():

👎Deprecated since 1.0.1: renamed to resetting() due to conflicts with Vec::clear().

renamed to resetting() due to conflicts with Vec::clear().
The clear() method will be removed in a future release.
Source§fn whenever(&self, value: Condition) -> Painted<&T>
fn whenever(&self, value: Condition) -> Painted<&T>
Conditionally enable styling based on whether the Condition value
applies. Replaces any previous condition.
See the crate level docs for more details.
§Example
Enable styling painted only when both stdout and stderr are TTYs:
use yansi::{Paint, Condition};
painted.red().on_yellow().whenever(Condition::STDOUTERR_ARE_TTY);
