TypedProducer

Struct TypedProducer

Source
pub struct TypedProducer<S, T, C> { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

The producer half of a typed queue. Clone it for multiple producers.

Implementations§

Source§

impl<S: Store, T, C: Codec<T>> TypedProducer<S, T, C>

Source

pub fn push(&self, value: &T) -> Result<(), TypedPushError<S::Error>>

Encode and push value, waiting while the queue is at capacity.

Source

pub fn close(&self)

Close the queue; further pushes fail and the consumer drains what remains.

Source

pub fn len(&self) -> usize

Number of unacked items currently in the queue.

Source

pub fn is_empty(&self) -> bool

Whether the queue holds no unacked items.
