pub struct TextState {
pub edit: TextEdit,
pub config: TextConfig,
}Expand description
A text field’s interaction state.
The edit control is the state: the text, its layout, the caret, the selection, the scroll offset and the undo stack are one record with one invariant, rather than a string here and a stack there that a mutation has to remember to keep in step.

let state = TextState {
edit: pdfrum_form::edit::TextEdit::new("hello", &config, &metrics, true),

§edit: TextEditThe live edit control: text, layout, caret, selection, undo.
config: TextConfigHow the field is configured.

impl TextState
Sourcepub fn text(&self) -> &str

The text as the user has it, which may differ from the field’s stored value until the edit commits.
