FieldFlags

Struct FieldFlags

Source
pub struct FieldFlags(pub u32);
Expand description

A field’s /Ff word (ISO 32000-1 §12.7.3, Table 221). The bits every field type shares are read here; a type’s own bits are read by that type’s methods.

Tuple Fields§

§0: u32

Implementations§

Source§

impl FieldFlags

Source

pub fn read_only(self) -> bool

Bit 1, ReadOnly: the user may not change the field’s value.

Source

pub fn required(self) -> bool

Bit 2, Required: the field must have a value when the form is submitted.

Source

pub fn no_export(self) -> bool

Bit 3, NoExport: a submit-form action leaves the field out.

Source

pub fn multiline(self) -> bool

Bit 13, Multiline (text fields, Table 228): the text may span several lines.

Source

pub fn password(self) -> bool

Bit 14, Password (text fields): the text is echoed unreadably and should not be stored in the file.

Source

pub fn file_select(self) -> bool

Bit 21, FileSelect (text fields): the text is the path of a file whose contents are the field’s value.

Source

pub fn do_not_spell_check(self) -> bool

Bit 23, DoNotSpellCheck (text and choice fields): the text is not spell-checked.

Source

pub fn do_not_scroll(self) -> bool

Bit 24, DoNotScroll (text fields): the field takes no more text than fits its rectangle.

Source

pub fn comb(self) -> bool

Bit 25, Comb (text fields): the text is laid out in MaxLen equally spaced cells.

Source

pub fn rich_text(self) -> bool

Bit 26, RichText (text fields): the value is a rich text string held in /RV.

Source

pub fn combo(self) -> bool

Bit 18, Combo (choice fields, Table 230): a combo box rather than a list box.

Source

pub fn edit(self) -> bool

Bit 19, Edit (choice fields): the combo box has an editable text box next to its list.

Source

pub fn sort(self) -> bool

Bit 20, Sort (choice fields): a writer sorts the options; readers show them in /Opt order regardless.

Source

pub fn multi_select(self) -> bool

Bit 22, MultiSelect (choice fields): more than one option may be selected.

Source

pub fn commit_on_sel_change(self) -> bool

Bit 27, CommitOnSelChange (choice fields): a new selection is committed at once instead of when the field is left.

Source

pub fn no_toggle_to_off(self) -> bool

Bit 15, NoToggleToOff (radio buttons, Table 226): one button is always on; clicking the selected one does nothing.

Source

pub fn radio(self) -> bool

Bit 16, Radio (button fields): a set of radio buttons rather than a check box.

Source

pub fn pushbutton(self) -> bool

Bit 17, Pushbutton (button fields): a pushbutton, which keeps no value.

Source

pub fn radios_in_unison(self) -> bool

Bit 26, RadiosInUnison (radio buttons): buttons sharing an on state turn on and off together.
