A signature dictionary (ISO 32000-1 §12.8.1, Table 252) as the value of a signature field, read as data: nothing here is verified.
Covers ISO 32000-1 §12.8.1.
Fields§
§filter: Option<String>/Filter: the preferred signature handler.
sub_filter: Option<String>/SubFilter: the encoding of the signature value and key
information, such as adbe.pkcs7.detached.
byte_range: Vec<(u64, u64)>/ByteRange: the (offset, length) pairs of the bytes the digest
covers; an incomplete pair or a negative number ends the list.
contents: Vec<u8>/Contents: the signature value as written; empty when absent.
name: Option<String>/Name: the signer named in the dictionary.
signing_time: Option<String>/M: the time of signing as written, a PDF date string.
location: Option<String>/Location: where the signing took place.
reason: Option<String>/Reason: why the document was signed.
contact_info: Option<String>/ContactInfo: how to reach the signer.
Implementations§
Source§impl Signature
impl Signature
Sourcepub fn from_dict(dict: &Dict) -> Signature
pub fn from_dict(dict: &Dict) -> Signature
The Table 252 entries of a signature dictionary as data: the filter
and sub-filter names, the byte range pairs, the contents bytes, and
the signer’s name, time, location, reason and contact information as
text strings. Nothing is verified. The same reader serves a signature
field’s /V (§12.7.4.5) and the catalog’s permission handlers
(§12.8.4).
Covers ISO 32000-1 §12.8.1.
