Expand description

A file specification (Table 44), from a dictionary or a bare string.

Covers ISO 32000-1 §7.11.3.

Fields§

§file: Option<Vec<u8>>

/F: the file specification string as stored (§7.11.2), or the whole specification when it was a bare string.

§unicode_file: Option<String>

/UF: the Unicode form of the specification, decoded.

§description: Option<String>

/Desc, decoded.

§file_system: Option<String>

/FS: the file system that interprets the specification, URL being the one the standard defines.

§volatile: bool

/V: whether the file changes often enough that it must not be cached.

§embedded: Option<ObjRef>

The embedded file stream from /EF: its /UF, else /F, else one of the obsolescent /DOS, /Mac and /Unix entries.

Implementations§

Source§

impl FileSpec

Source

pub fn name(&self) -> String

The name to show: /UF, else /F decoded as a text string, else empty.

Covers ISO 32000-1 §7.11.3.

Source

pub fn url(&self) -> Option<String>

The URL a specification whose /FS is URL names: its /F read as 7-bit ASCII, which the clause requires (a byte outside ASCII is kept through PDFDocEncoding). None for any other file system.

Covers ISO 32000-1 §7.11.5.
