pub struct ClipMargins(/* private fields */);Expand description
Clip margins in points: left, top, right, bottom.
A validated newtype rather than a bare array, for two reasons. f64 is
not Eq – NaN is not equal to itself – so a bare [f64; 4] on
ExtractOptions cost the options their Eq, which is public API a
caller may compare or key on. And a margin is a distance into the page:
negative or non-finite is a mistake in the call, caught by
ClipMargins::new rather than read as a rectangle.
Implementations§
Source§impl ClipMargins
impl ClipMargins
Sourcepub fn new(
left: f64,
top: f64,
right: f64,
bottom: f64,
) -> Result<Self, OptionsError>
pub fn new( left: f64, top: f64, right: f64, bottom: f64, ) -> Result<Self, OptionsError>
[left, top, right, bottom] in points. Each side must be finite and
at least zero; anything else is an
OptionsError::InvalidClipMargins naming the side.
-0.0 is normalised to 0.0, so margins that compare equal as floats
compare equal here too.
