#[non_exhaustive]pub enum TableRenderMode {
Auto,
Markdown,
Html,
}Expand description
How a table reaches the Markdown: pipes, HTML, or the automatic choice between them (#659).
Read by ExtractOptions::table_render_mode. Pipes hold a rectangular
table with at most one header row; anything else – a spanned grid, a
headless one – needs HTML to say what it is. The default
TableRenderMode::Auto writes each table the way it always was, and
the other two ask for one form for every table.
Non-exhaustive: re-exported from the facade, so new modes must not break a downstream match.
Variants (Non-exhaustive)§
This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
Auto
Each table the way it always was: pipes where Markdown holds its shape, HTML elsewhere. The default.
Markdown
Every table as a pipe table, its first row above the divider.
Html
Every table as an HTML table, header cells marked th.
