Source§impl PixelRect
impl PixelRect
Sourcepub fn snap_to_pixels(self) -> Self
pub fn snap_to_pixels(self) -> Self
Snap rectangle coordinates to the pixel grid for crisp, consistent rendering.
Without snapping, thin geometric lines (e.g. box-drawing characters) can straddle pixel boundaries and appear as 1 pixel in some positions and 2 pixels in others, causing visual inconsistency (e.g. tmux pane borders flickering between single and double lines).
Sourcepub fn snap_edges_to_pixels(self) -> Self
pub fn snap_edges_to_pixels(self) -> Self
Snap rectangle edges to pixel boundaries for seamless tiling.
Unlike snap_to_pixels() which rounds x/y/width/height independently
(which can cause the rect to overshoot cell boundaries), this method
rounds the absolute edges (left, top, right, bottom) and derives
width/height from the snapped edges. This ensures block elements like
▄ and ▀ tile perfectly within their cell without sub-pixel gaps.
