Expand description

Errors that can occur during expression evaluation or type-checking.

Variants (Non-exhaustive)§

This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
§

StepLimitExceeded(u64)

Evaluation exceeded the configured step limit.

§

DepthExceeded(u32)

Evaluation exceeded the configured recursion depth.

§

UnboundVariable(String)

A variable was referenced but not bound in the environment.

§

TypeError

An operation received a value of the wrong type.

Fields

§expected: String

The expected type name.

§got: String

The actual type name.

§

ArityMismatch

A builtin was applied to the wrong number of arguments.

Fields

§op: String

The builtin operation name.

§expected: usize

Expected number of arguments.

§got: usize

Actual number of arguments.

§

IndexOutOfBounds

List index was out of bounds.

Fields

§index: i64

The index that was attempted.

§len: usize

The actual list length.

§

FieldNotFound(String)

A field was not found in a record.

§

NonExhaustiveMatch

No pattern arm matched the scrutinee.

§

DivisionByZero

Division by zero.

§

ListLengthExceeded(usize)

A list operation exceeded the configured maximum list length.

§

ParseError

Failed to parse a string as a number.

Fields

§value: String

The string value that failed to parse.

§target_type: String

The target type name.

§

NotAFunction

Attempted to call a non-function value.
