A validation error together with the index of the offending entry in the journal passed to validate_journal_all, before chronological sorting.

The index is deliberately a domain-level location, not a source span: pactole-core must remain independent from parsers and file storage. A storage layer can use it to recover the originating file and source span.

Zero-based position in the journal supplied to validation, before the validator’s chronological sort.

error: ValidationError

Business error associated with the input entry.
